As I've said before, no such thing as a bad Cd'E show. I wouldn't say it was one of their best musically, but it must have been a mind-blower to see.

put this on the short list
If it seems like I'm only writing positive reviews, it's only because I'm going through and picking my favorite (D'elf) shows to write about.
This was one of my greatest live D'elf experiences, with the set starting well after 1:00am in the "late night tent". There was a giant puppet head dancing along with everyone else, psychedelic projections, and a bunch of people getting totally down. This is one example of D'elf seizing the moment and just playing the set that *needed* to be played: an upbeat, shredding affair. They streamroll through the opening of the set with several funky numbers, before exploring some other textures. The set went 'till dawn, and I hope I never forget the feeling of New 3 (is that correct? I thought the last song was Mogador) unfolding as the dawn mist floated in.
I reviewed this show for Relix, and I think the review might still be available on the official D'elf website.
